This movie follows the agent's mission to battle a mad scientist intent on halting the U.S. space program. Bond then heads to Jamaica where he meets Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress), in order to battle Dr. No and his diabolical plans on his private island. Dr. No was released on May 8, 1963 and was directed by Terence Young, with a budget of 1.1 million USD. It was co-written by Terence Young, Richard Maibaum, Johanna Harwood and Berkely Mather.
