Demonstration of Hackmanite tenebrescence. Hackmanite is a sulphur bearing variety of sodalite that display tenebrescence, that is the ability to change color when exposed to certain types of light. This sample turns from white to purple upon exposure to UV light, and comes back to white with a strong white flashlight.
