Ciara has come under fire from some furious fans after announcing an upcoming collaboration with Chris Brown. The singer, 37, announced the news on her social media on Wednesday, simply writing: ‘CiCi X Breezy. How We Roll 8/4.’ Alongside sharing a pre-save link next to the song’s release date of Friday, she posted a snippet of the track itself, in which you can hear just her singing, alongside a clip of her and Chris together. Dressed in a white sweater with print on the sleeves and a graphic design on the front, Ciara has a pair of shades on – as well as plentiful gold chains – as the pair pose for photography. Chris, meanwhile, has his hands in his pocket and his head resting on the star’s shoulder, keeping a straight face for the pictures until he beams widely at the end of the clip. However, many fans online were not at all happy about Ciara’s decision to work with the 34-year-old, branding him ‘toxic’. Back in 2010, he was barred from the UK after being infamously convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 in an attack that left her ‘spitting blood’ the previous year.
