@karinalemieux93969 months ago I totally understand what you mean being a puppy parent. But what we realized very quickly is that our puppy (now almost 6 years old) needs that time alone to build confidence in themselves and being alone! We used to come back to things being destroyed but after we started to train him, leaving him alone for a few minutes then gradually increasing the time apart, he has become so much better. He still has some times of separation anxiety, but overall he is so much better! I hope your puppy experience is better than ours was! You’re already great to him. I can feel the love through the screen!! 😭😭💛💛💛 ... 1

@carahamelie9 months ago I totally know what you mean about a reading slump where the words are swirling, and not processing... I just went through this with Remarkably Bright Creatures, and I had to switch books because it was so bad. Its like my mind was trying to read every word, but my eyes were trying to skim.... its strange. ...

@maddywilkie10 months ago i think you’d really like ‘always only you’ and ‘only with you’ by chloe liese. it’s apart of a series but you don’t need to read them in order. the romance is so sweet, the third act breakups are so well done and i HATE third act breakups but chloe liese does it perfectly. there’s also so much representation for autism, chronic illness, sexuality and more. they also explore relationships so well and talk about them so deeply. i highly recommend them and i assume the rest of the series is just as good!!! ...

@balletbookworm10 months ago Sending some encouragement to unhaul the books you didn't like (obviously, you've already done this, given the video, LOL) but just go ahead and put those in a little stack when you're done with them, then take them off to donate or put in an LFL or something once a month (we have a LFL at the hospital where I work so when I have a totebag full, I just toddle off to the LFL to toss them in, they'll find their people ;) ) ... 1

@kittyquinn00410 months ago LOVE the clip of you “kissing” the books you like and gagging or tossing the books you hate 😂💚 also as someone with limited book space, I think it’s so important to unhaul books! To treat our bookshelves as a treasure chest, and if there are books that we didn’t love (or love the experience reading) then they aren’t gems for us personally and don’t belong in our treasure chest 💚 ... 3
