@vinskilby35083 years ago Can confirm the fishing quest line is a good way to get gear set for fishing i have currently competed most of it I think last to items I got required level 60 to use so well worth it 1

@360BLK3 years ago On your map, fresh water is blue. All saltwater is not.
Edit: An example is near Shiresad Beach in Norther Restless Shores. There are a few small rivers going out to the ocean. They turn into saltwater as they go over the rocks. You can see the map suddenly cut to saltwater from fresh but still continue the river outline into the sea. ... 1

@DaleStrife2 years ago Question: Does it affect tension or fish quality based on how far you cast (short/medium/max) or how deep the water is? Also, does a hotspot last for a certain number of casts, or is it timed based on when the first pull was? ...

@Briansgate3 years ago Question: when your bobber turn into the fish icon to start reeling in, the circular timer starts out green, turns yellow, then red, etc... Does that have any bearing on quality of fish if you hit it when it's green as opposed to lesser quality if you wait til red? ...

@R4V1D3 years ago Hopefully they do something with fishing chests. As it is now, fishing 3* hotspots is not producing enough fish to make it even worth the time. I have 200 skill full fishing gear with a legendary reel and 2 trophies and I'm averaging 5 chests each spot, which are nearly worthless. They need to either add some value back to chests or completely remove them. ...

@phi-net24373 years ago I need wisdom, 3 legendarys have gotten away from me in the last hour, I've caught one before, but even after upgrading my fishing pole with a stronger line perk, they get away either by breaking the line of getting off the hook, not sure what I'm doing wrong. ...
