THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

@cathrinewhite762911 months agoHey Ron, if you happen to be passing by on I-90 in E. WA state, there is a group of cemetaries between Roslyn and Ronald that has amazing history. />They have the pictures in the little metal frames, and each nationality has it's own plot. Coal miners, loggers and other pioneers from mid 1800's to early 20th century, the most chilling is entire families of kids that all died within weeks or months of each other. I cannot imagine losing 6 or 8 children to diptheria, or the Spanish influenza- one right after the other, until there are no kids left in the family. 😢 ...6

@heidemarieemmert21956 days agoI was afraid to die. I would go with my husband to veteran funerals. He is in the military honor guard in Tomahawk. Seeing how many families are at the service and are smiling. I asked some why they are smiling on such a sad occasion. They tell me they know they will see the person who passed on. My grandmother in Germany had Alzheimer’s for the last 5 years of her life. My father is 91 and he is doing well. No signs of Alzheimer’s. As an Former EMT, I went to a snowmobile accident at night. I never seen someone who just passed away. My fellow EMT held my hand while I approached the deceased. I looked up and saw a person smiling looking at me. I asked my friend who that was and she didn’t see anyone. At that point, I knew there would be life after death. He definitely was dead. His snowmobile went up a tree. His face was smashed in. Everyone will have different experience. ...

@tkoutdoors1711 months agoIf you come to Idaho, the town of Soda Springs has a lot of pioneer history. There is a wagon box grave where the family was massacred a mile south and buried in their wagon in the cemetery. Another interesting area along the Oregon Trail is Massacre Rocks state park in Idaho but not sure of any pioneer graves near that. Thanks for the fun and addicting content! Good stuff Ron. Watching from Idaho. ...2

@narelle-creative-arts11 months agoHey Ron just going through the ep so I apologise for a 2nd post, firstly I’d love to hear about your friend, also I’m sad to hear there will be no more paranormal guys I shall miss you and Britton teaming up, hope you will do an ep every now and then in the future 🪦the convention idea you could team it with history themes , have people that sell souvenirs to do with death, graves like the girl at the convention you went to a few months ago and she sold earrings and such 🙂 I’m in Australia but I’d love for you to do that, maybe you could live stream it if it ever happens ❤️ I think a living death would have to be Motor Neuron Disease where your abilty to function gets taken away but your thoughts are fine you just can't express them 😢. I do hope there is a heaven for you Ron I'd hate to think you would never get to see your lovely daughter and other loved ones again❤ thank you for maybe doing a calamity Jane ep…now I have Doris day singing “the black hills of Dakota” in my head lol🤣 ...1

@jenienecastle983211 months agoHi, Ron. Are you coming to Ohio or did you already visit in Ohio? There's one story about a family of four that lived in Canfield Twp that lived on Herbert Rd. I know you don't really like murder stories but this story is so sad, only the little baby survived. Wasn't touched. Happened in mid 70's. Father worked at GM. & he was a security guard & he busted a drug ring at work & well the family was killed at their house. I don't really heard if they got the murderers. ...
